Jiu-Jitsu Class

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: All Levels ATTIRE: This is a Gi class. The Gi is not required for new students and guests.

What to expect?

This is our main training program that focuses on a comprehensive approach to Jiu-Jitsu skill development. The goal of this program is to teach a mixture of both basic and advanced techniques to further the learning and advance the technical ability of students.

This program helps guide students of all experience levels reach their full potential and individual goals.

This class consists of basic conditioning & movement drills, technique demonstration & application, situational training & live Jiu-Jitsu sparring.

Submission Grappling

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: All Levels ATTIRE: This is a No-Gi class.

What to expect?

This is a No Gi version of the Jiu Jitsu Class, traditionally run to include basic conditioning & movement drills, technique demonstration & application, situational training & live Jiu-Jitsu sparring.

Competition Class

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: Experienced ATTIRE: This is a Gi only class.

What to expect?

This is our competition focused training program that is targeted on developing the skills and strategies needed to become a successful Jiu-Jitsu competitor. The goal of this program is to help students of all experience levels achieve their full competitive potential.

This class consists of hard conditioning, movement drills, specific training, and live Jiu-Jitsu sparring.

Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: White Belts ATTIRE: This is a Gi class. The Gi is not required for new students and guests.

What to expect?

This training program is for beginners and white belts only. The goal of this program is to teach the basic principles and techniques of Jiu-Jitsu that is expected form every beginner. If you are new to Jiu-Jitsu and interested to learn the basic skills, this is the best class for you start.

This class consists of basic conditioning & movement drills, technique demonstration & application, situational training & live Jiu-Jitsu sparring.

Kids Jiu-Jitsu

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: All Levels ATTIRE: This is a Gi class but the Gi is not required for new students and guests.

What to expect?

This training program is for kids and children ages 5-12 years old only. The goal of this program is to introduce Jiu-Jitsu to children and equipping them with the core values of respect, hard work, and dedication early on in life. We teach them the basic principles and techniques of Jiu-Jitsu that is expected form every practitioner.

This class consists of basic conditioning & movement drills, technique demonstration & application, situational training in the form of fun goal oriented games that children will enjoy.

 

Drill Class

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: All Levels ATTIRE: This is a Gi class. The Gi is not required for new students and guests.

What to expect?

This training program focuses on drilling techniques learned from the lessons taught within the week. Students are expected to have a good basic knowlede and understanding of the techniques to be able to keep up with the class. Join this class if you want to improve the timing and applcation of your techniques for live sparring.

This class consists of conditioning, movement & speed drills, technique application & repetition, situational training, and live Jiu-Jitsu sparring.

Open Mat

DURATION: minutes LEVELS: All Levels ATTIRE: The Gi is recommended but No-Gi is also welcome. EGO must be left at home.

What to expect?

This is a FREE session offered by Pato Studio Cebu Jiu-Jitsu that is open for all teams, all the time as part of the Studio’s goal of building strong relationships with all BJJ teams in the community.

This session is for open drilling, occasional situational training, and live jiu-jitsu sparring. Come in to this class if you want to refine your techniques, get some live sparring before a new week starts, or learn from the people present during this session. Instructors will be on hand to assist you during this session.
