September 2010 Alvin Aguilar Seminar

Deftac-Cebu will be holding 2010's second Alvin Aguilar Seminar. Alvin Aguilar is a 1st degree black belt under the banner of Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu led by the world-famous Saulo Ribeiro. The seminar will be held in the afternoon of September 11 and 12 at Deftac's IT park gym.
Alvin Aguilar is the Philippines' first representative in the World BJJ Championships to win a black belt match. He spent more than two weeks training with world class competitors, such as Saulo RIbeiro, Xande Ribeiro, Demian Maia, Rafael Lovato Jr., Zak Maxwell, etc. Alvin was recently awarded his first degree on his black belt from Royler Gracie, head instructor of Gracie Humaita.
The seminar will cover some techniques and philosophies that have been imparted to Professor Aguilar over the course of his training in the Jiu Jitsu University in San Diego; Professor Aguilar will also be checking on the progress of the Cebu chapter of DEFTAC and giving due promotions to deserving individuals.
