Last weekend, Deftac Cebu sent four competitors to represent Cebu and the Philippines in this year's Thailand Open. The all blue belt team consisted of Keeno Jingco fighting at the light-feather weight division (-64 kg), Jiggy Cañiezares at the feather weight division (-70kg), Bryan Espino at the lightweight division, and John Hermosisima at the medium-heavy weight division (-88.3kg).

Congratulations to John Hermosisima won silver and Keeno Jingco won bronze in their respective weight divisions. Bryan Espino and Jiggy Cañizares both lost in the first round to the people who eventually won gold in their respective divisions. A very tough match for both of them, but a very valiant effort nonetheless.

The team would like to thank Baseline Sports Complex, CITIGYM, CJRS MMA, KONFLIKT Clothing, and Summit Mineral Water.

To everyone else, keep working hard. Grab your gear and let's train! OSSS!
